CALL FOR PITCH COMPETITION

For the first time ever, ISBI 2023 will hold a pitch competition! Come share your latest startup ideas with our community. This event will take place as part of the ISBI Industrial Day, on April 18, 2023. Come and showcase your work! Participation will allow you to:

  • Showcase your startup to a wide audience and a jury of experts
  • Directly interact with mentors and top leaders in medical imaging
  • Promote your newly developed products to a global network of biomedical imaging professionals
  • Recruit talent for your startup
  • Expand your network, establish collaborations with other startups and entrepreneurs in the field

Selection Criteria

We will select 8 startups working on fields relevant to ISBI, based on the novelty of the technology, market potential, significance of the application to medical and biomedical imaging, and commercialization strategy.

Details of the competition

There will be a slide-based pitch presentation, comprising the following: problem statement, market gap, technical solution, market size, competitive landscape, team, funding history and needs, go to market strategy and timeline, revenue streams. Presentation will be limited to 8 minutes, with 4 minutes of questions. Prizes will be provided for companies selected by the Industrial Day speakers and the audience.

Important Dates

  • February 3, 2023: Applications due
  • February 9, 2023: Notification of acceptance
  • April 1, 2023: Submission of slides and presentation material
  • April 18, 2023: Hybrid event: pitch competition during the ISBI Industrial Day
